Chocolate Chip Butterscotch Bread Pudding



i found the recipe in nigella lawson's book. nampak sangat sedap. so i buat, and altered it to bahan yang ada dalam peti ais.

Ingredients
roughly 8 pieces of butterscotch bread
chocolate chip secukupnya
2 eggs
40gms brown sugar
200ml cream
400ml milk
extra castor sugar for sprinkle
vanilla essence

Method
1. Preheat oven to 170deg
2. susun roti yang telah dipotong (3cm cube) ke dalam oven proof dish
3. toss in the choc chip
4. whisk the eggs, brown sugar, cream, milk & vanilla essence.
5. pour over the bread & press the cubes down to coat them in liquid.
6. leave to soak for 20 mins. then sprinkle with sugar and bake for 40-50 mins.
7. serve warm with either vanilla sauce or ice cream. i had mine with choc sauce.
