:: Grilled Salmon & Saba ala Teriyaki with Mixed Tempura ::

tetiba perut mengidam nak makan makanan jepun. tapi untuk berbelanja di restoran jepun tak termasuk dalam kemahuan sebab mahal plus tekak ni cuma makan a few types of japanese food sahaja. (no raw fish, no sushi)

made these for yesterday's dinner, salmon for him (i tak suka salmon), and saba fish for moi.





Grilled Fish ala Teriyaki
:: Ingredients ::
Fish (Salmon & Saba)
Sweet Soy sauce
Honey
Garlic
Corriander leaves (Daun Ketumbar) - i ganti dengan daun sup

:: Method ::
1. Marinate for at least 2 hour.
2. Pan grilled till cook to you desired level. (i like it well done)
3. serve dengan daun ketumbar yang telah dihiris halus.

:: Mixed Tempura ::
Sweet Potato (ubi keledek manis)
Cendawan Enoki
Terung
Tepung tempura
Air sejuk

1. wash vegetables, slice and leave to dry.
2. mixed tempura flour with cold water. (air sejuk akan mengelakkan tempura dari menyerap minyak)
3. goreng dalam minyak panas.

ps - tips yang i dapat dari internet kata, to know the right temperature to fry tempura, drop some batter. kalau dia tenggelam, then timbul balik, that's the right temperature. kalau drop and terus floating, it's too hot.

ps no. 2 - payah nak dapat perfect tempura. serious!
